Uzinduzi wa Mwongozo na Wasifu wa Kilimo Kinachohimili Mabadiliko ya Tabianchi



Uzinduzi rasmi wa Mwongozo na Wasifu wa Kilimo Kinachohimili Mabadiliko ya Tabianchi utafanyika tarehe 27 Mei, 2017 katika ukumbi wa Mikutano wa Wizara ya Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi uliopo mjini Dodoma. Mgeni Rasmi atakuwa Waziri wa Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi, Mhe. Dkt. Charles J.Tizeba (Mb).
Baada ya uzinduzi huo wadau wataweza kupakua Mwongozo na Wasifu kupitia tovuti ya Wizara ya Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi (www.kilimo.go.tz) na kuvitumia katika kuwekeza na kuendeleza kilimo kinachohimili mabadiliko ya tabianchi hapa nchini.
Uzinduzi huo unakuja kufuatia Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania kwa kushirikiana na Wabia wa Maendeleo ( (FAO, DFID, WB, CIAT, Sekta Binafsi na Asasi zisizo za Kiserikali imekuwa ikifanya juhudi kubwa katika kukabiliana na changamoto za athari za Mabadiliko ya Tabianchi katika kuongeza usalama wa chakula na lishe.

Kamati ya Zabuni ya Uagizaji Mbolea kwa Pamoja Yakutana




Kamati ya zabuni ya uagizaji mbolea wa pamoja imekutana hivi karibuni katika ukumbi wa Mifugo wa Wizara ya Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi lengo likiwa ni kufungua maombi ya awali ya makampuni yaliomba kununua na kusambaza pembejeo hiyo kwa wakulima.
Akizungumza baada ya mkutano mwenyekiti wa kamati hiyo ambaye pia ni Mtendaji Mkuu wa Mamlaka ya Mbolea Tanzania (TFRA) Bwana Lazaro Kitandu alisema jumla ya waombaji wa zabuni walikuwa  20 na waliorudisha zabuni hizo ni  17 sawa na 85% ambazo kamati ilizifungua kwa hatua ya awali.
“Mchakato huo unafanyika kwa uwazi ambapo washindi wa hatua ya wali watatakikiwa kuleta makadirio ya bei za kusambaza mbolea hizo kwa wakulima kwa mwaka 2017/18 ambapo sheria inamtaka mzabuni mwenye gharama ndogo kupewa kipaumbele” alisema bwana Kitandu
Aidha mbolea zitakazo angizwa zitakuwa ni aina ya Urea na DAP ambazo ni maalum kwa kupandia na kukuzia mazao, mfumo  huu wa uagizaji unaruhusu mtu yeyote mwenye sifa kuagiza mbolea hiyo kwa utaratibu uliowekwa alisisitiza bwana  Kitandu.
Hata hivyo Bwana Kitandu aliongeza kuwa  mfumo huu wa uagizaji wa mbolea kwa pamoja utasaidia upatikanaji kwa wingi na kwa bei ndogo kutokana na ushindani utakao kuwepo baina ya makampuni.
Hata hivyo kitandu aliwataka wakulima kuwa waangalifu wanaponunua mbolea za kupima kwakuwa nyingi zimekuwa na viwango  vidogo kutokana na namna zinavyo hifadhiwa,pamoja na kuzingatia ushauri wa wataalamu wa kilimo kwa namna bora ya matumizi ya mbolea katika shamba.
Awali utaratibu wa uagizaji wa mbolea, makampuni yalikuwa yanajipangia bei hivyo mbolea kuwa na bei kubwa ifikapo kwa mkulima tofautai na mfumo huu ambao TFRA pamoja na majukumu mengine  watawasiliana na makampuni ya yanayozalisha mbolea ndani na nje ya nchi ili kuepusha udanganyifu wa gharama za ununuzi zinzosababisha mkulima kupata mbolea kwa bei kubwa. Tozo na Ada Katika Sekta Ndogo ya Mazao ya Kilimo zilizofutwa (uk.94-96)



Akiwasilisha bajeti ya Wizara hiyo, Waziri wa Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi Mheshimiwa Dk. Charles J. Tizeba ametangaza kuondolewa kwa tozo mbalimbali kwa huduma za kilimo ambazo zimeonekana kuwa kero kwa wakulima. Zaidi bofya hapa na usome bajeti ya Wizara ukurasa wa 94 hadi 96.

Bajeti ya Wizara Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi yawasilishwa jana



Katika mwaka 2017/2018, Wizara ya Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi kupitia Fungu 43, Fungu 99, Fungu 64 na Fungu 24 inaomba jumla ya Shilingi 267,865,782,829 kwa ajili ya kutekeleza shughuli mbalimbali za kilimo, mifugo na uvuvi.

Akiwasilisha bajeti hiyo, Waziri wa Kilimo Mifugo na Uvuvi Mheshimiwa Dk. Charles J. Tizeba pia ametangaza kuondolewa kwa tozo mbalimbali kwa huduma za kilimo mifugo na uvuvi ambazo zimeonekana kuwa kero kwa wakulima, wafugaji na wavuvi.

Kuhusu kuongeza upatikanaji wa pembejeo hususan mbolea, Waziri Tizeba ameliambia Bunge kuwa, Wizara yake kupitia TFRA imeandaa Kanuni ya Ununuzi wa Mbolea kwa Pamoja za mwaka 2017 (Fertilizer Bulk Procurement Regulations, 2017) na mwongozo wa utekelezaji kwa madhumuni ya kuongeza upatikanaji na kupunguza bei za mbolea kwa Mkulima.
Mfumo wa uagizaji wa mbolea kwa pamoja, mwaka 2017/2018 utaanza kwa kuagiza aina mbili tu za mbolea ambazo ni; mbolea ya kupandia (DAP) na mbolea ya kukuzia (UREA) kwa kuwa zinatumika kwa wingi. Mbolea zingine hususan NPK, CAN, SA, MOP, TSP, zitaendelea kuletwa kwa utaratibu unaotumika sasa. Soma zaidi

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO DIPLOMA AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO DIPLOMA AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018
The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries (Agriculture) is officially announcing applications for admission into Diploma and Certificate programmes offered at the Ministry of Agriculture Training Institutes (MATIs) registered by NACTE for the academic year 2017/2018. Applicants who meet the minimum entry qualifications are invited to apply for admission by 30th June 2017 for Certificate program and 15th July 2017 for Diploma program. The following are the programmes offered at MATIs:
1)     Diploma Courses

             i.    Diploma in General Agriculture (NTA Level 5 to 6): applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics, and Agriculture.

           ii.    Diploma in General Agriculture (NTA Level 6(Upgrade): applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.

          iii.    Diploma in Land Use Planning: applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics, and Agriculture. OR Applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subject in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education

          iv.    Diploma in Irrigation (NTA Level 5 to 6): applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics, and Economics. OR Applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subject in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture) with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.

            v.    Diploma in Food Production and Nutrition (NTA Level 5 to 6): applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Nutrition and Agriculture.  OR  Applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.

            vi.    Diploma in Agro mechanization (NTA Level 5 to 6): applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Economics and Agriculture. OR Applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.

          vii.    Diploma in Horticulture (NTA Level 5 to 6): applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Nutrition, and Agriculture. OR Applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.

         viii.    Diploma in Crop Production (NTA Level 5 to 6): applicant must have Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one Principal and one Subsidiary passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and Agriculture. OR Applicant must have passed Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4-5) and must have passed at least three  subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.

2)        Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 4 to 5):  applicant must have at least three passes of grade “D” in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education. English will be an added advantage.

Duly-filled form must be signed, attached with certified copies of birth certificate, academic certificates, transcripts, Bank pay-in slip of non refundable application fee of Tsh. 30, 000/= and send to the address of the  Agricultural Training Institute(s) of the applicant choice(s).
